Fullers Sugarhouse

Our Story

Fuller’s Sugarhouse is a family-owned and operated small business located Lancaster, NH, a quaint, scenic town in the northern White Mountains of New Hampshire. We are surrounded by the Presidential range and all its rugged beauty, part of what makes our syrup so rich in flavor.

Each spring, we tap more than 26,000 trees to produce over 11,000 gallons of pure NH maple syrup. Our product line includes 3 grades of maple syrup, maple candy, maple sugar, and maple cream, all made from 100% pure maple syrup. Great soil, pure water, state-of-the-art equipment, and our constant attention to detail go into every maple product we make. We love what we do and think it shows in our products!

How it Began

Dave Fuller first learned how to make maple syrup from his grandfather. He loved it so much he decided to make it his life’s work. He was 17 years old when he first started his sugarhouse, a small shack in the woods with a used evaporator.

Through the years, the business grew and in 1998, Dave and his wife Patti established Fuller’s Sugarhouse and Country Store in downtown Lancaster, NH. Today, Fuller’s Sugarhouse is truly a family affair, with Dave’s siblings, children, and grandchildren all playing a role in the business.

Our Maple Process

We tap maple trees in three “sugar bushes” or “maple groves” in the Lancaster area. Sap from the trees is collected by a plastic tubing system. We have 18,000 taps that run directly into our Sugarhouse in Jefferson where it is boiled to golden, smooth syrup.

From there, drums of syrup are transported to our Lancaster facility to be packaged in bottles and jugs, and used to make maple candy, cream (butter), and sugar. All of Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple products are sold online, in our Country Store, and distributed to retail locations nationwide.
