Maple Energy Bites
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 C. Rolled Oats
- 2 T. Flaxseeds
- 1/2 C. Peanut Butter or Other Nut Butter of Choice
- 1/3 C. Fuller's Sugarhouse Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 t. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 C. Mix-Ins: Chocolate Chips, Chopped Almonds, Craisins, Shredded Coconut
Preparation
- Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl: oats, flaxseed, nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Also add 1/2 cup of mix-ins of your choice. Stir to combine. If the mixture seems wet, add a bit more oats. If it’s too dry, add a bit more nut butter.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
- Once chilled, roll dough into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
- Store energy balls in an airtight container. They will stay in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
