Maple Mulled Cider Wine

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles Red Wine (750-ml, Cabernet Sauvignon or Red Blend)
  • ½ cup Fuller’s Sugarhouse Pure Maple Syrup
  • ½ gallon Apple Cider
  • 1 Orange, thickly sliced
  • 1 Apple, thickly sliced
  • 2-3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 4-5 Whole Cloves
  • 3 Star Anise
  • ½ cup Brandy, optional
  • Garnishes Apple Slices, Orange Slices, Cranberries, Fuller’s Sugarhouse Pure Maple Sugar

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low 1-2 hours.
  2. Remove the cooked fruit and replace it with fresh fruit. Switch crockpot to warm or turn off for serving.
  3. Pour into mugs with a maple sugar rim and garnish with apple, orange, and cranberry!
