Mrs. K’s Maple Blueberry Tea Cake

Ingredients

Tea Cake

  • ½ cup Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups blueberries

Topping

  • ¼ cup Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • ½ tsps. cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  2. Mix Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, butter, egg, milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and blueberries.
  3. For the topping, mix sugar, Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, flour, cinnamon, and unsalted butter.
  4. For the topping, mix sugar, Fuller’s Sugarhouse pure maple syrup, flour, cinnamon, and unsalted butter.
  5. Work mixture into crumb-like balls and place on top of cake mixture.
  6. Bake at 375˚F for 40-45 minutes.
