Maple Apple Butter
Ingredients
- 4 pounds Apples, cored and diced
 - 1 1/4 cups Apple Cider or Juice
 - 1/2 cup Fuller’s Pure Maple Syrup
 - 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
 - 1-2 Cinnamon Sticks
 - 1/2 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg
 - 1 pinch (about 1/4 teaspoon) Ground Cloves
 - 1 pinch (about 1/4 teaspoon) Salt
 
Preparation
- In a slow cooker combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, stirring halfway through cooking.
 - Remove the cinnamon stick and puree with an immersion blender or in a blender.
 - Once blended, place back in the crockpot uncovered on high for 1-2 hours or until slightly thickened. Adjust the sweetness as desired.
 - Cool and spread onto toast, muffins, pancakes, and more. Store in an airtight container in the fridge to use for up to 1 month.
