HOW TO SUBSTITUTE WITH PURE MAPLE: When substituting pure maple syrup for granulated sugars, use 3/4 cup of maple syrup for each cup of granulated sugar you are replacing. Compensate for the added liquid by reducing other liquid ingredients by about 1/4 cup. In salad dressings and other liquids, simply replace sugar with maple syrup instead. Whether you’re looking to make healthy lifestyle changes or want to switch things up and try something new, maple syrup is a great place to start!
