Savor the Flavors of July

From plump berries to vibrant veggies, July is the time of year when we start to see an abundance of fresh produce in our gardens, farmstands and grocery stores. With summertime in full swing, harvests have received plenty of sunshine and rain to help reach fruition.

For many of us, it’s important to know where our food comes from and to enjoy it alongside ingredients that are produced with the same type of dedication and integrity. Fuller’s pure NH maple syrup is a single-source ingredient produced in the northern White Mountains of New Hampshire – nothing but sap from the tree goes into all our maple products.

Try pairing Fuller’s pure maple with your July produce picks – you won’t regret it! Here are some suggested ways to incorporate maple into breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and dessert!

RASPBERRIES

After strawberries, raspberries are the next fruit to ripen. Rich with antioxidants and great source of fiber and vitamin C, raspberries are juicy and tart with a bit of crunch in every berry. As raspberries ripen over the season, their flavors intensify.

From dark blues to purple-hues, blueberries have a mild, sweet taste with a bit of acid and plenty of juice. Known as a “superfood,” blueberries are loaded with nutrients and studies have shown they may help lower blood pressure, improve memory, and aid in exercise recovery.

Many also like to create “zoodles” (zucchini noodles) as a replacement for pasta or lasagna noodles.
